Sorry you've encountered crashes while using RockMelt. To help us investigate, it would be really helpful if you can email questions-at-rockmelt.com with:
1. What problem you're having and any details you remember (such as what action caused crashing and when it started happening)
2. Tell us what version operating system you're using
3. What version of RockMelt you’re using - by doing a "Get Info" on the RockMelt application icon in the Finder, OR going to RockMelt menu in the top left and choose About RockMelt
4. An attachment of the rockmelt_debug.log file in this folder:
- Click on your desktop then press shift + cmd + G
- Type ~/Library in the Go To window
- Navigate to -> Application Support -> RockMelt (Note: If you're using OS X Lion, leave this window open.)
5. An attachment of all the actual crash files
On OS X 10.7 Lion:
Inside the RockMelt folder above, look for the Crash Reports folder and attach the files you find there.
On OS X 10.6 or 10.5:
- Click on your desktop and press shift + cmd + G
- Type ~/Library in the Go To window
- Navigate to -> Logs, then click on the folder called "DiagnosticReports" or "CrashReporter"
- Attach files that start with "RockMelt_"
To stop RockMelt from crashing repeatedly
1) Quit and shutdown RockMelt
2) Delete your RockMelt folder from above
3) Re-download RockMelt by visiting www.rockmelt.com from another browser
4) Re-install RockMelt – all your bookmarks, apps, extensions, favorite friends, and bookmarks will all be recovered
