Starting in RockMelt Beta 5 (version 0.9.71.615), you can search directly from the Social Omnibox without going to a search engine like Google or Bing first.

How do I search from the Social Omnibox?
Just type what you're looking for into the omnibox and press enter - that's it! No need to go to a search engine first.


How do I change my default search engine?
Just go to the RockMelt menu > Options / Preferences > Under the Basics tab, look under Omnibox and pick your default engine or add a new one. You can also set your default country under Search to get the most relevant results.
