Since Friend Requests, Messages, Notifications, and chat can be accessed right from RockMelt, to prevent seeing duplicate features, you can hide them on Facebook.com or on RockMelt.

To hide chat and Requests / Messages / Notifications on Facebook.com:

1. Make sure you are using the latest version of RockMelt (v0.9.58.478 or higher) by going to the RockMelt menu -> About RockMelt

2. After upgrading to the latest version, go to the RockMelt menu -> Options / Preferences -> Edges, and set your preferences under the Facebook.com section.


To hide Requests / Messages / Notifications on RockMelt:

1. Make sure you are using the latest version of RockMelt (v0.9.58.478 or higher) by going to the RockMelt menu -> About RockMelt

2. After upgrading to the latest version, go to the RockMelt menu -> Options / Preferences -> Edges, look under Notifiers, and uncheck the option next to Show Requests, Messages, and Notifications
